Favorite books: Memoirs of all kinds, historical fiction

Favorite movies: Dramas and Comedy. Favorites are My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Napoleon Dynamite

Personal interests: Gardening in pots, exploring new places/travel, reading books (especially when connected to book club)

Family life: I have four children: two teenagers and two 20 somethings....I am getting close to "empty nesting" and my husband and I are looking forward to what that will offer.

Favorite Quote:

"Live without grasping" is my life motto. This hangs on my bathroom wall and reminds me to keep my hands open to whatever comes my way without trying to control or white-knuckle my life.

Superpower with clients: I love to look at "problems" as opportunities to creatively find solutions, one baby step at a time.

Dreams for the future: I actually don't think much about what's coming but would hope that it includes laughing, watching my children become adults with passions, and helping others to find freedom in their lives.

Professional background: I have spent the last 25+ years working in a wide range of nutrition roles: Diabetes care, clinical work, and the past 6 years in DBT informed Eating Disorder Treatment with teens and adults.
